What a wonderful idea.  Just finished reading all the posts.  Shelli, Aleta and Sonya love all your cards.  I have always enclosed the Teddy's picture with the Teddy I have created for client's , what a wonderful idea to convert it to a ATC.

Even though we have to make a name and reputation for ourselves on eBay, I also agee that some sellers undersell themselves.  I do not know how they sell their bears so cheaply and still are able to make a profit over the material costs alone.  eBay is a great way for a small business to reach an international market but is very competitive.  I have a few friends that have varying businesses on eBay and we all seem to have the same concerns no matter what our product may be.

The shops that I sell my bears at are on a consignment basis, so I can set the price.  They also give me a break on the commission as they do for artist's work.

Sorry to hear you are under the weather.  That nagging, tickling cough at night is the worst.  I usual get the Robitussin "DM" (cough suppressant).  I would also be interested in any home remedies out there.

More christmas ornaments.   The Teddy that looks like a dog?? out of synthetic fur was last christmas and the vintage mink was for a client this christmas.

Hi Sabine:

We buy our non-alcoholic Eggnog at the grocery store and it comes in the same packaging as milk.  Eggnog is richer and creamier than milk.  My son can drink it by the litre, he just loves it.  We were over at our brother's and he serves it with coke and rum which makes quite a nice drink.

I know there are quite a few recipes for Eggnog on the internet but I have never tried one.

Yes, I have been very busy with custom teddies from client's fur coats.  I still have orders into the New Year, not complaining, this is a good thing.

I have missed our chats also.   I know I have missed allot of Teddy Talk and have scanned some of the messages but it is hard to catch up - but did see you boxing over Clooney, LOL.  Hope everything is well with you.
