Wow thats a big troop of bears!
I have a charlie bear somewhere that is supposed to stand. He has thick card in his feet, but the card has bent (I got him reduced because of this fault) so he just falls over. I expect if the card was straight he would be fine
hehe I cant wait to see what you make emily
I love this website, the range is really good and its reasonably priced too
Hey everybody! It gets dark pretty early now (4.30pm) and there just arnt enough hours in the day to sew my teds! Ive tried putting all the lights on in the room, and a lamp on the table, but my eyes still strain. I dont use a sewing machine so everything has to be done by hand.
Do you have any suggestions for good lighting? Thankees
I love the big cuddly teds, I find I cant hug jointed bears too well, because they are often stuffed hard. I have a lot of Gund bears which I love to bits, and a couple or random "i have no idea what their brand is" bears that I have rescued from charity shops.
Im not sure it counts as a craft, but I love to take photographs of landscapes.
She looks great! I like her eyes
Hey everyone, this is Cooper. He turned out a lot larger than I thought, and he is staying at Miser Bear HQ.
For long and funky fur in the UK, I use Mohair and bear making supplies. Their range is really good in both faux fur and mohair
Wonderful work
Yaaay good job Emily! He looks so cute Im sure someone will adopt him soon
What a lovely ted!
Great work, looks amazing
he looks great
Cant wait to see how he is coming along
hehe he looks like a cheeky one! Maybe he is sabotaging your efforts
I had ridiculous trouble with Toby's nose, I ended up doubling up the thread and doing it that way. Maybe i should try a different nose technique too
Better costumes than I usually see
Aww Emily, this is getting spooky! Thanks everyone for you lovely comments, Toby approves
Toby has been itching to find a new owner, apparently i dont have enough cake for him to eat.
Made from super soft faux fur, he stands at 13", and sits at 10". Toby is completely hand sewn by myself and is sporting German glass eyes, cashmere paw pads, heavy poly fiber filling and a handsome red felt collar.
I hope you like him, he is up on my ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271085161963? … 1555.l2649
These 2 are gorgeous! Make sure to give them extra porridge as a reward
Sent you a PM, looking forward to some lovely bear cards
I just read your blog Emily, Im at about the same stage as you! What started as a small corner of a desk has now taken over the kitchen table completely.
Ooh I| love fluff balls, they are the best! This fellow looks fuzzilicious
