What a gorgeous cat family, Sue Ann, but how on Earth did they get them to pose like this?!

Pasting this is from the Technical Help section. I hope it works!
Your photo must be a .jpg file type, and must be fairly small, with a maximum pixel width of 185. If you only have large digital photos of your work, and don't quite understand what "maximum pixel width of 185" means (!), try using your photo editing program to downsize your picture to a resolution of 72 dpi (dots per inch) and a size of 2 x 2 inches. That sizing generally works as a first attempt; if your photo's still too big, though, you can adjust down from there.

These are so cute, Natalia! You have real style, and each animal has a unique personality. Brava!

Hi Julie,
Interesting question! Like you, I started by using patterns from books, then I started to make minor and (later) major changes to those patterns. After several months of that, I had an idea for a bear in my head and simply drew the pattern freehand. When that bear came out well, I was pleased, of course, but I also felt like it was the first bear I'd made that was really "mine."
The other personalizations that you mention are also important parts of what give a bear your unique look and style, but for me, it wasn't really my design until I had created the pattern myself from scratch.

Hi Laura Lynn,
Welcome back, and thanks for the studio tour! You live in a lovely old house, and the workspace looks very conducive.

Yes, indeed - You did lovely work on your first bear, and the mohair is fabulous. I'm impressed that you weren't afraid to do some scissor work to define his wee face.

Hi Stellaluna,
You might find this blog post by Paula Carter helpful. It has lots of good pictures, too: http://allbear.blogspot.com/2008/04/eye-eye.html

Welcome to Teddy Talk, Lisa! I know we'd enjoy seeing pictures of your bear with eyebrows if you feel like sharing.

They look like mostly peaceful protests, so that's good. Thanks for sharing your lovely collection!
