the-kids.jpgcake-2.jpgcake.jpgI know it is Tuesday afternoon (at least here where I am) but it is my first chance to post anything since the weekend. We left on Friday morning to head the 2 1/2 hours to my Mother-In-laws house for my Brother-In-Laws wedding on Saturday. Upon arrival, we "moved" into the house....I put a large 11 inch by 15 inch cake, a 9 inch heart cake and an 8 inch square cake on the table along with the bowl with 5 batches of Buttercream icing and started the pre-decorating of the cake. I finished decorating the cake on Saturday at 8:30 AM. The wedding on Saturday was alot of fun (it was his 3rd wedding) My kids flew in to attend, my son setting off the alarm at the church! (which, of course, had the cops show up) It was a good time. This is the picture of the cake that I made for them. And a picture of our "kids" From left to right, Brett, Theresa, Tina, Francis, Aaron. Brett & Theresa just got engaged, she is the grooms' daughter, Tina & Francis have been married for 2 1/2 years and she is our daughter, then our son Aaron.

So.....what did you do over the weekend?

I have always admired people that can decorate a cake like that.  bear_thumb
Like yourself, my brother is a wizz at it as well.
