I know I wouldn't be reaching for the camera......my first thought would be much more hysterical!!! OMG!!!! Well maybe I would reach for the camera.........it's great blackmail for those 18th and 21st birthday parties......you know one of those moments that parents bring up when you're 60 and they are 80!!!
haha...OH OH!!!!
I would have to leave the room for a few minutes to gather my composure. Not sure how I would react then. Argh.
When I was an insurance agent, I had a client whose grandsons had a water fight in her home with water squirters that they thought had water in them. They had bleach in them. You know what the furniture, curtains and carpet looked like when they were through? White polka dots and stripes. Her insurance paid for the damage, by the way.
Oh my....I don't know what I would do......

I can laugh.
It isn't me.
Oh my good god, what on earth would you do! Those little rascles, you have to love them though don't you!
I just hope the house owner had good insurance.
Hugs Jane.
Look at the grin on his face he just looks so proud of himself doesn't he? See mum look what I did to help you!
Reminds me of my hubby, he dropped a tin of BLACK paint on my living room carpet, then procedded to try and wash it out, but only spread it further. He tried hidding it from me, by moving the couch over the stain, but the stain was too big. Some men are as bad as the kids
Mmmmmm Naughty aren't they
Oh no Sandy he didn't really think he could get away with it?
Silly Billy. DId you give him an earful?

Silly Billy. DId you give him an earful?
I remember, just wanting to cry. I can't remember what I said to him now, but he wasn't allowed to forget it for awhile  a LONG while. He's done other silly things since. The kids have grown up, but he hasn't..lol
Ahhhh budding artists!!!!! OMG what a mess...sure hope it was water soluable paint!!!
Hugs &
Oh my goodness - I saw this one doing the rounds and there was also a cute little puppy that had chewed through the sofa and made
a terrible mess of the lounge.
You have got to love them!
Hugs

When I was an insurance agent, I had a client whose grandsons had a water fight in her home with water squirters that they thought had water in them. They had bleach in them.
I have to say, I felt really sick to my stomach with the thought of those grandsons playing with bleach...if they'd gotten in their eyes, the thought is too horrid!!! Thank heavens it was only the furniture and the house that bore the brunt...
And ummmm.... My brother and I did something rather similar when we were two and three. Dad left paintcans under the basement stairs...which WAS our playground..the basement I mean. Dave found them, and we decided the basement walls needed painting.
Then Dave decided we should add 'texture' by putting dried moss on the wet paint. Ummm, Mom found us at that point, and my memory fails
But I do remember a lot of yelling, and Dave and I sitting in a cold bathtub. Mum swears she shoved us in the bath and left us there for hours. She was SO ticked, but afraid she'd kill us!
In retrospect its become on of those family legends of the funny kind, but boy she wasn't impressed initially, I can tell you!

Ah thank goodnes I haven't had that (pleae please please don't let that happen to me  )
But it sounds like it is quite common to redecorate the house.
I got sent this by a fellow bear artist about 6 months ago, the day after the 'event' happened. These 2 monsters are actually her nephews!!
Yikes.
a few thoughts occur to me.
1. I'm pretty sure that my mom's first impulse would not be to grab the camera & snap a photo.
2. were I that child, I would not be smiling in the photo. In fact, I'd probably not be here today!!
3. of all the stuff covered with paint, there appears to be virtually NONE on the childrens' own toys.
4. the little one's got paint all around his mouth. How'd that stuff taste, buddy??
5. that looks like (it used to be) an expensive couch!
