Does anyone know if there are any stores that sale teddy bear supplies in the Dallas, TX area?  I know I can get everything  online but I only need a few items and hate to pay shipping on like one thing!
Thanks

Sue Ann might have an answer for you when she pops on again.
The things that you need.... are they specific only to bear making like mohair, bear eyes, etc.?
Or are you looking for something you might find at a hardware store or fabric shop?

There are very few physical bear supply shops these days... most are online.

Nina, what exactly do you need?  The only place I know of in the Dallas area where you could get bear supplies would be from a lady in Plano who teaches bear making classes.  She used to have a shop, but I think works out of her home now.  I have her e-mail address . . . if you want it, let me know.  Luann Bowen, who lives in Austin, has supplies also, and she's a member here.  If you don't need a lot of stuff, I might be able to help you out - and I wouldn't charge you shipping.

Thanks everyone I'm looking for a brush like a Finger Brush & I've found them online for $4.50 but hate to pay shipping on that one item.  I would also love to find some furs/mohair and patterns.  But the brush is the main thing I'm hunting for right now.  I l was going up to Dallas this weekend and was hoping there might be a store I could look around in.   bear_ermm

I bought a small wire brush at the pet store... I like having a handle, they cost about the same, and I can get it locally. I find there are a lot of things that I have to just find a suitable substitute for.... and then I have a list going for when I have enough to place an online order and pay for shipping to then get what I really want. bear_grin

I have two of them and would be glad to mail you one (no shipping) - if all else fails.  You can PM or email me your address if you want one of mine.  Have fun in Dallas.
