For years and years I wanted to do this show and it just never happened.....FINALLY, we get to go!!

So, I'm working on some new stuff and packing my tubs......

Who else will be in KC for the Jubilee?

I'm so glad that Bill Boyd's Jubilee is being revived. It was my first out-of-town show to exhibit in 15 years ago. Mo-Kan supported it very nicely!!

After a few years of ABC's shows under my belt, I was ready to travel further. All of the 3 promotors I worked with were wonderful: Bill, Joel & Daniel and ABC.

The Jubilee was Good Bears's largest fundraiser of the year - often in the $ 12,000 to 14,000 range - going totally to support Good Bears's fabulous work.

I will not be attending, though my miniature needle felted Polar Bear will be on its way tomorrow for the auction. I'd post a preview but he's still upside-down waiting for his paw pads to dry. (I really work best under pressure....)

Everyone in the area should plan on attending this Saturday. The Midwest's weather is going to be fabulous for travel and MO/KS really know how to welcome visitors!!!

LOL Bev, I had a really funny surprise as I delivered my auction bear to the local GBW den leader today, who'll take it with her to KC.

I commented on the wonderful driving weather they'll have.
A puzzled look on their faces: it seems that I am a WHOLE WEEK EARLY!! Got to be a first for me!!

Have a great time in KC on the NEXT weekend after Labor Day!

I commented on the wonderful driving weather they'll have, as today is what we call Colorado Weather: 75F, sunny, breezy, low humudity, warm in the sun/ cool in the shade - in other words - PERFECT!
