Strange BearsKezjoy posted a topic on adding "Award Winning Artist" to your adverts and it's value. I posted a reply saying that I always try and support competitions and show award winning bears.
I have just realised that I do tend to confine myself to Australia with this.....might be the mind set that the mag is called AUSTRALAIN Bear Creations........so.......how about all you overseas artists keeping note of my email address ( sandra@bearhug.com.au )
and if you win
Best in Show ...or....... Best in Category ......send me a photo (at least 300dpi) and details of the show, your trade name and contact details......and I will have an opportunity to add some overseas flavour to the magazine.

I love your magazine also by the way, it has so many information and its a great way to learn also how patterns are drawn to get this certain pose.... without your magazine, i dont think my craft would have improve... thanks.... keep it up :clap:
Strange BearsYes others may certainly feel free to send me their creations......at the moment I don't have a page devoted to just what artists are doing at the moment....I hope to make room for such a page eventually. But I do have my editors column......and I am making room in that for lots of "bits".......

I've just sent you my "Best in Show"jpeg-Chef from Pat Moore's San Jose, CA show in July. He was designed after the show's theme, "Chef Bear R Dee". I don't know if you have shows like this in Australia? Pat's show has a lot of charity events and auctions and the artists design around a central theme that changes year to year. We are all encouraged to suggest themes for the next show but I'm not that clever with words :redface:
