For the ABC Awards - this is the Australian Bear Creations equal to the Toby and Golden Globe Awards.

Every entrant will have the opportunity to place adverts in our bear gallery over the period of 2009 be it your entry in to the comp or a bear of your choice. You competition entry will receive exposure through our website over 2009. That's just for entering.

Nominees will receive exposure through the magazine, the website and as the bear must be sent in, through bear shows in Australia.

The peoples choice winner will receive not only the trophy but a beautiful individual painting of their bear.

I, as the editor, am also doing an Editors Choice Trophy, which will be judged on a very strict criteria.

All the winners will receive quite extensive exposure through the magazine.

For those that don't know the magazine is distributed in Australia, New Zealand, Sth Africa, Nth America, the UK and parts of Europe, soon hopefully also in Taiwan.

Come on what's with you Aussies out there?
Sandra has put a lot of work into this and if it is to succeed it needs support!
EVERYONE'S SUPPORT! Otherwise there won't be any competitions to enter.
It's time to pull your finger out and put back a little into the industry that we all love so dearly.

Well now I've said what I really feel...yell at me if you wish...but all the mags give us great opportunities and it's time to return the favour!

hmm..interesting...i'll try to get something together to enter...can the gallery item be at any time during the year or all in a certain edition?? I ask because i don't have much bear stock sitting here at the mo and im away most of dec/jan..so not much time to make new bears if they need to be in an early edition of the magazine..thanks for letting us know!!
