hello,
does anyone know or has a tip for me?!
i'm making right now my first panda bear its a b-day present for my mom... but i dont know how i should put the patches around the eyes.
should i glue them on?? but then i think it will stand up and wont look like it belongs there?? or should i cut out the patches from the head and then sew them in it??
please help!!
thanks so much.
sandra

p.s when making the paws can i glue on the little paws on the food pad???
thanks again

Ok glue isn't always that great. Some glues damages the fur.
I have done eye patches several ways
1) cut out the whte patch ad sew the coloured patch in before sewng the head. Easier on larger bears.
2) sew the patches onto the fur once head is made.
3) airbrush on using colour same as fur.

It would be better to sew the paws onto the foot pad before attaching to leg.

I usually use a fabric marker and hand shade the patches on my pandas.

You can also needle felt both the patches and the foot pads
