Well - as far as her ladyship was concerned - a half-share of my steak...........and in all fairness - it was her treat, and I ordered steak to share! Oh - and I promise you - her tongue really WASN'T in the salad - the angle of the photo is a bit misleading!

Actually - there was a bit of method in my madness Jeremy is vegetarian, and I don't eat much meat - so Nou doesn't often get too much of it - and lurking in the back of my mind was the day we bought her a bratwurst at one of the local flea markets - she wolfed it down, and threw it back up a couple of minutes later - somewhat embarrassing! :redface: :redface: :redface:
Plus, of course, our vet insists she should lose a bit of weight!

Benson BearsHi Maria, Nounours is absolutely gorgeous! Happy birthday big girl! Ralphie has just turned Twelve! He's such an old man now and I suspect a lttle senile, poor boy. he gets so vague at times. He's seems much happier these past few weeks since we put him on ani-inflamatories for his hips. That's the problem with these big gentle dogs, they don't really show when they're in pain 
He's more mobile and I'm hoping we can shift a bit of weight off him, he's on a diet! Don't you just LOVE the faces on these big gentle dogs, so lovable!

I must say that Leos ARE lovely dogs - big cuddly teddybears..........but oh boy, I wish we had one that LIKED being brushed! As you can imagine - it's a mammoth task keeping her in some semblance of order! Still can't believe she's SIX - another example of time just flying past. Reminds me - those of you who watch BBC (yes we get it here!) would have already heard this.........Terry Wogan musing............"who was it said? - "time flies like an arrow..........but fruit flies like a banana"......... makes me giggle every time I think of it!
