Acorn is one of my sad eyed porcelain faced bears.He has beautiful set in dolls eyes and a very sad look.I am pleased with the way the firing painting has turned out on the face.Each one of my bears is hand calved when it comes out of the mould so is therefore very special!
I have made Acorn from three long curly locks mohair -Cream for his head and chest- for his body I have used a beautiful gold that has a dark brown tip and for his ears and limbs I have chosen a rich brown. Photo's do not do this bear justice!
Acorn is cotter pin jointed and weighted with encased sand.
