I've searched everywhere and there is no identification. It appears there WAS a tag on the top left ear, but its no longer there.

My grandmother passed away last week and this was one of her teddy bears. And I believe she's had this since she was a kid, so, I know its German, but I'm not sure if its a Steiff bear. She grew up in Germany and relocated in the U.S. in the 1950's.

He looks like the kind of bear you used to be able to win at carnivals. Here's a similar-looking one from eastern Europe: http://www.vectis.co.uk/Page/ViewLot.as … 1&Start=80

He's got a great face!
