Don't watch MONK, but I did see the ads for it.....horrified! I think we should protest the ripping apart of a poor innocent Teddy Bear

Except for this episode (which I haven't yet seen) it's a great show.
Monk is a private detective played by Tony Shaloub. He developed Obsessive Compulsive Disorder after his wife was murdered. He's been off the police force since then, but works closely with the chief, who keeps trying to help him to get reinstated, without success. Monk hasa longsuffering female companion who keeps him in order and helps solve cases.
Wackiness ensues.
I can't believe Monk would tear apart innocent bears . . . I'd rather remember him as the man who saved a little girl's goldfish.
Posts: 8,574I thought you explained the premise of Monk very well Eileen. I would add that there is nothing romantic between Monk and Natalie.....she's kind of a glorified babysitter and coach at the same time-with, like a mom, a purse full of hand wipes.
