I LOVE the scandinavian combo of red (rich red not tomato), apple green and crisp white - all with that mix of pattern and colour that they do so well

I also like a combo of apple green, rose pink, with a hint of deep green for some depth of hue and some deeper red also

buttery yellow, soft blue, cream and a touch of deep blue for impact

and I'm looking right at a quilt my mum made me which is a combination of warm red, denim blue, warm gold, deep greens and muted purple - it sounds terrible but it looks great.

HHMM.. Shelli, I suppose it would depend what it is for.  If it was for something animalish I would choose:

Raw Umber. Yellow Ocre, and Burnt Sienna, then a rich leafy deep green.

For something oceany:

White, sea foam green, teal,  carribian blue, and clear.

for something off the wall:

Deep rich gold, Orange , and bright pink.

Can't wait to see what you're creating.
