Hi Everyone.  We have been so busy these past few weeks getting ready for the  County Fair.

Our daughter Rachel showed a spring heifer holstein calf and won FIRST PLACE TOP BLUE RIBBON in the Junior Showmanship!  I just had to share.  I don't know who I am more excited for, Rachel who showed the calf or Mark...her very proud daddy.

Mark worked very hard  with Rachel to teach her how to handle a calf and how to "set the calf up" in front of judges and how to lead, groom, and present the animal in the best possible way.

She won a gorgeous blue ribbon and a trophy show halter engraved.

We are so proud of her and she is just flying high right now.

Just wanted to share this with you.

PS..the calfs name is Reagancrest Gold Mallory-ET..."Mallory" for short.

Congratulations Rachel...how exciting for the whole family!!!  Isn't it wonderful when you watch your children work really hard at something and the rewards that follow!!!

Judi you have every right to be proud  ! Rachel and the calf look so wonderful together.  I'm sure you and Mark were bursting with emotion.  Rachel must be thrilled too. What a great accomplishment   :clap:
