I know some of you must be doing the Schaumburg, IL show in October. So I'm nosey...... WHO????

If one were to be considering doing this show what would your advice be?

I will be there, Daphne.  This is a well attended show, so have as much inventory as possible since it runs two days.  There will be an artists' gallery . . . something that I enjoy participating in . . . that you might want to consider.  On Saturday night, the 28th, there will be a Harvest Festival/Halloween Party (costumes encouraged), so it all sounds like a really fun time.  Would love to see you there.

I just filled out my app. and will have it in the mail on Monday!!!  :dance:

We'll be there, Daphne!  Hope you'll be able to make it, it would be great to meet you!  I agree with Sue Ann, bring enough bears for two days and expect to have a really fun time.   We've been there three times previously, and I know there are several people who post (and lurk!) here that attend Schaumburg either regularly or once-in-a-while.

Well, back to the grindstone.  Got to finish bears for Binghamton first before I think about Schaumburg!

Oh, Kelly, when is TBAI?  Will you please take some photos for us?  Such a great show.  How's your inventory building coming?  And... nice to see you posting!

Hi Shelli, I must say that TBAI is... TOO SOON!  Mid-August.  We're OK with small and medium bears, but have some biggies to work on and I'm trying to do my first real display of minis.  Last year we had our gallery piece done months in advance, and this year, well, we're still working on it.  Finally had to drop it off at a woodworker's because I was going nuts trying to figure out how to install some things myself.  There's only so much I can do with a handsaw and a hammer, it turns out!

Will try to remember some  :photo:  this year!

Half the reason I'm going is purely social!!!! I can't wait to meet some of my favorite Teddy Talkers at last!!! Wish EVERYONE was going to be there!!!  :hug:

I'm going to try to come as a visitor that weekend. :pray:  :pray: I've been after Darren to take off with me for a long weekend without the kidlets for some teddy fun.........I think he's coming around to my begging and pleading! :dance: It will be so much fun to meet all the TT'ers there! :hug:

I can't imagine how much fun it would be - I am way too new/small-time/slow-working to
be able to justify going though (someday!) I've only been to the 2 small doll/bear/toy
shows (visiting, not exhibiting) in Springfield MA so far. But I enjoyed them immensely!
