I have been thinking on a name change from Critter Creations to something else. Is it a good Idea or not . Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Hugs,Lynn
Well, Lynn, we cannot tell until you have another name to suggest...
Yours don't look bad to me!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
I say depends on how big of a following do you have? I changed names, but I never sold bears from my old name.
Critter creations isnt bad. why do you want to change?
Its your trademark
I like Critter Creations....it is cute, short, easy to remember, Is it a doamin name you can own? if you ever decide to leave FreeWebs?
i think it is a great name.
just a couple of ideas. And people to change hosting companies.....just a thought.

Well it is like this Dilu, I have been selling with Critter Creations and now having the web site I decided to go for the domain name and it is taken...so I am left with ...Critters Creations...which is not bad. I only have to add an s to Critter or go to a totally different name. If I opt for the first then there won't be a big drama...at least not on my end.
Hugs Lynn
I made up my mind and went with Critters Creations and have a domain name. So now I will be .com instead of freewebs.

When i first went for Cakewalk Creations....the creation S was taken too. Now a year later it was available and I took it.
So check the domain name sites every now and then....yours might come back.
The key will be to remember to pay on time and keep it year to year.
Thanks Dilu!
Hugs, Lynn
Glad that you have got your domain name sorted out Lynn and Critters Creations sound great.
Best of luck.

And let your domain provider know of every email addy change you make! I went through a huge hassle last Fall because I didn't
Our ISP was bought & sold 4 times in 2 years.. I paid and paid for new cards, etc.. At least they told us with the last one that in 6 months it would become Comcast, so we could prepare!
But by not informing my domain host (whose ownership also changed in the 5 year span, starting in Australia and ending up in Germany and Switzerland at the time I inquired) when it was time to renew/send payment, I even called the 2 countries, only to have them confirm that any requests for info from me had to come from an e addy that doesn't exist (the companies no longer exist!) and that any reply would only go to the addy of record - so they're zinging around out there in space.
In the end I had to apply for a new domain; thank goodness it was available!
Now if I could just light a fire under my webbie!!!
Thanks for all your input. I greatly appreciate. Now I will have to redo my Avatar as the spelling is now wrong. I have change my site a bit and want to add more info.
Hugs, Lynn
