This has been a pretty good week, I sold a golly and...


and...............



got a golly and a best friend for my gollies!

Look what Sandi sent:


The Golly is a pin (broach) and I am happily wearing him on my very next outing.  He is so happy and cleverly painted....and Sandi's shading is exquisite and the lines in his clothing are so fine...i think her brush must only have had 3 or 4 hairs in it!

But delighted little gollymaker me also got the sweetest little friend to play with the gollies:

Sandi, as with anything I receive from anyone here at TT I shall treasure the golly pin, and use him very often, and your little doll is already getting comfy with some gollies from New Zealand by Miss Helen, another wonderful friend.

Thank you so very much, what a wonderful surprise.

Buy the way, Sandi's pin is wood, cut out on a jig saw I would imagine, then sanded smooth prior to painting.  I love them both and will have such fun wearing the pin!

Hi Di,

Glenn (hubby) cut the brooch out...I think he cut out about twelve different brooch shapes (wait till you see what he's done for Christmas)...he's does come in handy sometimes...actually I don't know what I'd do without him! bear_grin

He does all the timber that I use with my bears...disks, signage, boxes for putting cottons in, props, my bases for special designs...like the ones I'll be posting sooooon!

Oh  do love the pin and Miss Molly has already ensconsed herself happily with the gollies and she is teaching them new tricks!  But I don't mind she has such a happy sweet face....can't let that innosense fool us though!

I wish my hubby had a jig saw.....I think he needs one for Christmas!  Or maybe a table saw?  Hmmmmmm
