OH DEAR poor smook has been removed from e bay.
This has happened because i added a line in his text saying "take a look at my website www.dustyatticbears.co.uk" i did,nt know this was`nt aloud. He was doing really well too.i had 28 watchers (i know most of them just nosey) and 3 bids.
Has anyone ever had this happen to them??
so what do i do now, do i list him again for 7 days and hope my bidders come back or do i just do a 3 day aution and hope all my watchers will find him in time for his auction ending?
HELP advice please.
Whoops-I just had to quickly amend my auction for Horace
I would relist Smook for 3 days and hope that everyone finds him again. If in just under 2 days it doesn't look good extend his auction for longer.Just make sure you do it before 24 hours is left otherwise it will not let you amend your listing.Do you remember the bidders as you could try to contact them to let them know.

What a bummer, Chloe--but he'll still be on all these people's 'watch' or 'bidding' lists. Even if the auction is marked 'ended', it will also be marked as 'relisted'.
That annoys me SOOO much when eBay do that!! Why can't they just email people and say to remove their website details....most people will!
I've had it happen when I was making and selling baby comfort blankets on eBay.
Oh this happened to me, I was so embarrassed. I would just list him again for a 7 day auction... maybe add a little blurb about why you had to relist.

Happened to me to, and countless others. I didn't know, either, that references to websites were allowed. Then, later on, when I DID know that, I used a logo image that I forgot (really, I did) had my website URL included in the image.
We all make mistakes. Don't be embarrassed! eBay has really strict rules and it's hard to follow them all, especially since they change all the time. Your watchers will follow to your new auction.
Good luck; SMOOK is really cute and will do fine!
Oooh Chloe, what a pain!! I see you've a bid on your new listing already though!! Yay!!!   I can't give mine away!!
It's happened to me too. Not a nice feeling is it to be dobbed in, so to speak! Anyhow, my bear had bids also, and was doing well... it was so frustrating. I didn't put my URL in my auction, but said the URL can be found in my ME page! LOL I thought THAT was safe!
Re-list, he'll do well again.
Danni
You could give him to me and solve all your problems
Thanks everyone, i listed him for 3 days in the end,and sent my bidders an e mail explaining what had happened, lucky one of my bidders came back.
