Pic 2 is coming in to Seattle . . . we had a 45 minute layover there.  It was cloudy and early evening.  Pic 3 is after we left Seattle.  It was very dark by then, but as we got closer to Alaska, we could see that it was still light there!!  How weird is that???  Right before we started descending to Anchorage, we could see mountains with tons of snow on them - in August!  Pic 4 is right before landing at Anchorage at 11:something pm . . . 2 o'clock Texas time.  Anchorage is located on a peninsula and the moon was reflected on the water.  Day 2 tomorrow.

Just breath taking, Sue Ann.  It always amazes me to see the earth from a planes point of view.  It's spectacular and a bit terrifyling all at the same time. bear_wub  bear_wacko  bear_shocked  bear_shocked  bear_shocked  bear_original   GORGEOUS photos!
