HELP!!!

Well if you were running a web site with several servers, you might have trouble too.
Think about it. Most of us only rent space on a sever. Ebay owns 100s and 1000s of servers that run automatically, maintain the listings, and are constantly updating... All that updating takes time. But if you are having this problem, know that someone else is having the same problem.
I know that I get upset when my listings don't show up right away, and I understand what you ladies are saying.
I agree that when we list something it should be posted right away. After all why list something if it doesn't show up in the listings until the last day. I think in that case eBay should refund all of the fees.
Maybe Quy could explain how this works better than I can.

The best thing that I can tell you is to try this.

Create a e-mail list of collectors, who have bought from you on ebay, who have given you their e-mail addresses at shows. The write a nice little e-mail about your listing...

Good Evening All!
I have just listed a new bear on ebay. Click the link below to view him.

Rubina Rabbit Jared Monroe Jare Hares & Bears (this is the link)

Hoppy Hare Hugs,
Jared

etc.
etc.
etc.

To unsubscribe to this mailing list simply reply with REMOVE in the subject field.
The sender of this e-mail can be reached at 510 E King St Polo, IL 61064. (these last 2 lines should be included in any e-mail mailing list)

I create the links by going in the my selling page.
I highlight the text link and hit ctrl+c.
I then go to my e-mail and hit ctrl+v.
Then send that e-mail off to my customers.
That way I generate some traffic on my listings. Who knows they may use the buy-it-now button.

If anyone ever asks to be removed from my mailing list I do that right away. I never wait.
When sending mass e-mails it is best to type everyone's e-mail address in the Bcc: field, that way no one can copy your list and send annoying e-mails to them. I know that my customers appreciate that.
I suggest creating an eBay mailing list in your address book.

Hope this helps.

I hear ya Jare...What I am saying is that it showed up in the list, then disappeared, then came back, and went away again...can you see the frustration...I do have a mailing list and an email that goes out with each bear...but the annoying part is that they are the only ones able to watch it when it isn't in the list...see what I am saying....Not to mention last week my bear Chip got relisted for no reason, or at least that is the email that went out to the watchers, before his auction was even over, and just this week Leopold got relisted the same way!!!! So yes I am frustrated, and for a proffesional company, doing the quantity of service they are doing, not to mention all the spoofs and scams going on on ebay, it is unsat for things like this to occur.

Krista

Very cute bear by the way Jare

Which bear? Parmajohn? Or Rubina?

That I understand... Showing up disappering then showing up again... must be an updating problem...

Hey Krista!  The "relisting" problem might be this..... I don't know whether you are using an auction hosting service or whether you list "straight from eBay".... BUT... when you list straight from e Bay, and edit your previous listing to reflect the NEW listing.... it will usually send out an automatic notice out to folks who were watching the prior listing.  I get those in my mailbox all the time from people who's items I was watching, who then list a new one.  It will say the name of the prior listing, though when you click the link it takes you to the new one.  Could that be it?

thanks Kim, I am not sure, because I created a new listing from scratch again...they looked into it and didn't see any problems so who knows...and for my items being relisted they have emailed and asked for the headers in the emails so will see what they come up with....he seems to be there just fine now, so hopefully he stays that way

Jared....I love the little one on the front of your page that looks like a chef!!! and Rubina Rabbit is awesome too!!!

Krista
