While away, we got horrid news that Tristan's other Granny was taken ill suddenly. Janet  woke up on Saturday morning, complained of flu symptoms, the Dr, checked her out and gave her some medication. Later on in the evening, she was still not feeling well, so Robert , her son took her to hospital were they admitted her.
Next thing she was unconscious, in ICU. 
She has now been diagnosed with bacterial menenghitis ( cant spell). She remains unconcious, on a ventilator. All people who have been in contact with her over the past 14 days have had to have antibotics, plus secondary people as well. The Dr's have said that it is the worst type to get. They now have to find the source  as it is a killer.

We do not know the outcome, if she does survive, they do not know what damage will have been done- blindness to beening paralysed.

I feel like a soccer ball being kicked in all directions, my tears seem to be like a river in full flood, and I just wonder if it will ever come to an end.

I know that the last thing people want to do is to tune into TT and listen to all my aches and moans , just that if I do not do something I will loose it all.

Lynette, my thoughts are with you at this hard time.  Places like this forum are good for sad times as we are all friends, here to help or lend an ear.  Last year I lost my Mum and the girls on Cheap Chat were such a rock for me at this horrible time.

Sometimes it doesn't ever seem to end. I'm having a very similar year!
Personally I think coming here for support and a shoulder to cry on is the best medicine. There are always loving caring people to 'listen' and offer advice and strength. Never keep your feelings in... let them out any way you can.
This sounds like a very stressful time for the whole family and it's hard when all you can do it wait. Pray, breathe, do something to help you relax.... a few short times a day will help immensly!

Oh Lynette I am so very very sorry!  I do understand... we lost a 21 year old neice in March, hubby's dear cousin 2 weeks ago... and legal problems at hubby's work.... I do understand.... I don't like 2006

Lynette, what a terrible time you and your family are having.  Sometimes we get given so much to deal with that life just seems quite impossible to cope with.  Just take things day to day, and we shall all hope and pray that things take a turn for the better.  You are very wise to come here and let your feelings out, as you do need some type of outlet, and you must be assured that there are plenty of caring, understanding people on here that are only too happy to listen and to offer you support.  We are women - we are good at it!!

I am crying again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but with JOY this time, Janet woke up an hour ago, and wanted to know what was going on, although she could not really speak with all the pipes down her throat.

Lets hope that this is a good sign .
