Just got a chance to get to my computer. Thank you all for all your thoughts and care.

Janet is making slow progress and came off the ventilator on Sunday. She was still hooked to 8 different drips, and managed to speak to the kids. She has of course lost all recollection of time, and kept telling the kids that she is going to get healthy and fit so that she can be around for her granchild Tristan.
She remains in ICU, and has started to compain that she wants TEA- all  good news.

Hi Lynette, I'm so pleased to hear that Janet is doing better. It is such a worry for you right now but it sounds as if all is going in the right direction.
