Hi!
Sharing some Halloween pictures. Each year my sister has a pumpkin carving party at her house. She makes chili, we all bring something kind of food treat (I did caramel apples drizzled with chocolate) and we each bring a pumpkin to carve. No commercial patterns, we just draw out what we want and go for it!
This year we watched Charlie Brown's Great Pumpkin while eating the chili and that's where my inspiration came from...Linus is my favorite. I was still at the carving table an hour after everyone else was done....but I had fun

Wow, very impressive. I love the linus, how cute. What a great tradition.
I am very impressed they look fantastic.
WOW ... beautiful
 Ohhh I love Linus, I am a peanuts fan
Really Great Pics!
I love this Halloween thing. It never used to be too big here in Blighty but the Trick or Treating has well and truly taken off over here now and i love to see all the little kids dressing up as Ghouls and Ghosties.
We don't get a lot of kids knocking on the door cos our house looks so creepy at night (and a bit during the day to be honest) but those that do tomorrow will get the door opened by me dressed as a werewolf - just the mask but bloody scary!!! Ha Ha HAH.........that'll learn em!
Maybe i'll wave one of me scary dolls at em too. Or is that pushing it?
Penny
wow! those pumpkins look great!
Those are "Great Pumpkins" I love that family tradition. We may just have to start it in my family!
Thanks all!! It really is a fun tradition, very casual. Being a blanket kid myself, Linus will always ROCK in my opinion. Kids with blankets (and teddy bears of course) are the coolest.
Pen,
When I was growing up we had one dad at the end of the street run out of the woods dressed as dracula....scared the wits out of us, but it was fun!! Play some scary music out front and the kiddies will be flocking to the "creepy house" with Penny's dolls.
