Well, you'd likely be in a lot of pain by now!!! :crackup:

Hubby got the job in Maine.... he starts Dec. 18th!
This means we're moving.... just as soon as we find a house!

We'll be closer to both sets of parents who are not too well. Actually we'll be VERY close to my parents who, God bless them, are already meddling in our plans!

So Christmas is at the bottom of the list this year! A few decorations to make it look festive and homey for perspective buyers (will anyone besides us be looking for a new home during the holidays???) but that's about it. I already have most of my shopping done and wrapped.

Now to start packing the mohair.... and bears.... and sewing machine.....  ...well, maybe I'll make just one more bear first!!!

Thanks for checking in on the status from time to time... your PMs and emails have been greatly appreciated. It's taken a while but everything is coming together..... your thoughts and prayers have helped a LOT!

Now to find a house............

      Congratulation on the move and to hubby on the new job.  It's about time you caught a break.  Life will be easier without all the travelling for you, even if parents do like to meddle LOL!  Have fun packing and good luck with the sale.

Oh Daphne!  That is FANTASTIC!  I know Henry has bee unhappy at his old job for a while, so let's hope this one is just right for you both. It's wonderful that the two of you will be closer to your folks!

All those crossed fingers and prayers worked for you.  Way to go!  It really is a miracle that any bears get made by TTer's since they have so many body parts crossed.  Here's to smooth sailing with the sale of the house and the purchase of a new one.  I bet your parents are just bursting with anticipation of getting to see more of you!

Thanks everyone!

I do love to house hunt. It's the packing I could do without as it was only 2 1/2 years ago that we moved last! And this is the very first house we've owned and it has sentimental value to us.... it'll be hard to leave. But I do love to decorate so look forward to making the next place "Home".....

Cookies... absolutely!! As long as I don't have to leave any out for the real estate agent and the lookers!

Henry is giddy about the new job! And he was going out of his skin with anticipation the day he gave his notice at the crappy job he has now!

This will all be a good change.....

Well. you certainly have some exciting and exhausting times ahead of you, but being who you are you will excel.

I am glad you will be closer to your folks, and happy for the hubster having a new job.

Now, normally when a friend moves we loose them, but the blessing for us is that we wont loose you, and may even get to cast votes on the different houses you look at....
