Hi Gals, I need a bit of help here......I am only going to enter 1 Bear into a competition and am unsure of which one...I like them both....so a bit of advice would be great....Julie did an amazing job with the photo's!!! So here are Tuktu the polar bear, and Derwood the Grizzly...

Oh boy, that is a tough call. I love them both, but if I had to vote for one, I'd choose Tuktu the polar bear.

THE POLAR BEAR! Everyone loves a polar bear don't they, and this one of yours is just so sweet Krista - his face is very full of character. I love the other bear too.........he is very appealing but his features don't show as well as the polar bear.

Krista they are both ever so lovely and what a toughie.

Krista, They are both beautiful, I love love love your polar bear     but my hubby thinks you should enter the grizzly.Sorry not much help are we. :crackup:

While *personally* I like the grizzly best, many people do prefer lighter colored bears, and polar bears are pretty much always a favorite with people!  So I also vote for the polar bear as a submission!

Thank you so much everyone for your input, it has helped a great deal...I went over the winners of a couple different competitions that post their winners on line, and it does seem that a great deal of nominees and winners are PB's so maybe....

Oh you are so clever.  Krista, I think the polar bear, He's delightful and not at all scary even with the open mouth and sharp teeth.  i checked with the gollies, they are usually afraid of bears with open mouths, but then you know gollies can be.

Is there a reason you can't enter both?

If only one-the polar bear....

They are both delightful, though and have the cuteness factor...

Forgive me here, but why can't you enter both? I am a hobbist and don't do competitions or shows so I don't know teddy bear show/competition etiquette. But if there is nothing wrong with putting two in the mix than I vote for both. If you really had to choose, I would put in the polar bear.

I just love Derwood's eyes, he has such a soulful expression....therefore I vote for grizzly, personally I prefer darker bears, but I know a lot of people love polar bears and he is gorgeous, so after all that, I'm not a great deal of help am I??  :doh:  :doh:  but lots of luck whichever you chose, they are both fabulous...

I really like both bears but my choice would be the grizzly mainly because he has more expression and more of an attitude. There have been a lot of polar bears in recent years and perhaps it is time for something different. Best of luck with whatever you choose to enter
