I wrote this for my girls last year. They are wanting it again, so I thought I would share.

I wrote this last year. The girls loved it so!

Twas the night before Christmas and all through our house
Four children lay waiting as quiet as a mouse.
They thought if they were sneaky and really really quiet
They would catch Santa on his rounds tonight.

But Santa just laughed he's seen this before
he would just wait till each one began to snore.
Then very quietly, quieter then a mouse
He left them their presents all through the house.

He drank up the milk and ate up the cake
and opened the gifts the girls had handmade
He walked cross the floor and opened the door
he had presents to deliver, so many more.

Santa gave each reindeer, some nice crunchy carrots
that the girls had left for them right near the parrots
He hopped in sleigh all ready for flight
and said MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT
