I used to make a gingerbred house or church every Christmas. Soooo much work! Whew!

I was up to my elbows in royal icing, and was having to chase my husband out of the candy dishs and the icing. It might have made him have a tummy ache beings it is made with raw egg whites :redface:

Gosh that's beautiful...mmmmm....and I bet your house smells fantastic with all the baking gingerbread.
LOL...poor hubby getting shooed out of the icing and candy dishes :crackup: Maybe you should keep offering those, so he doesn't take a bite out of your creations when your back is turned?
I just looooove all the details you've added, like the little fence, and that lovely walkway. How many hours/days did it take you to make?

Very pretty! We make a gingerbread house every year -- or try to -- and boy but can they be challenging. This one is really intricate and TALL. Just gorgeous. Good luck to you and please let us know how you do.

HA HA!!!! :crackup: I tinks it is.......! When I was looking for a cross for the chapel, I found the cross in the "rosary section" at wally world.
