I just took this photo of one of my cats, he's a totally crazy kitty and when he wants your attention he goes up on his back legs like a begging dog - too funny... I have tried over the years to get a good photo of him doing this with no luck and today I was trying to take a shot of the christmas tree and because I'd been out all morning he came up to me ... meowwww and then the moment I pointed the camera at him up he went!! Sometimes he even waves in the air too :dance: bear_smile

Catherine I love that picture. Cats are so funny and have such great personalities.

My hubby just taught our cat to roll over and play dead ! Whenever she sees him now she flops down and rolls because she knows she'll get a treat . She's so silly !

Great picture, Catherine! Our orange and white cat sits like t hat all the time and will beg for treats that way as well. Cats are really strange creatures!

I have one cat that thinks he's a dog too. I introduce him to people as: " and that's Frasier, he thinks he's a dog". He speaks on command, chews the dog bones and tries to run out with the dogs on their walks...he's a nutty cat.

Catherine, what a cute picture. Your kitty is posing for you, what a ham. We used to have a kitty that sat up and begged like that too. It was quite a fete for her as she was so fat, she really was begging for food. We used to call her flabby Abby the tabby.

Our birman girl used to do this. It was one of her 'I'm desperate for a cuddle' manovers....and she always kept it in reserve because she knew it would clench the deal. We could ignore some of her sweet begging, but when she sat up and flashed the tummy, we just melted bear_wub Putty in her paws :crackup:
