Dear Friends~

RE: update on Kellisa's pneumonia and hospitalization. bear_original

I asked for your prayers and I immediately had an outpouring of love and prayers from everyone. :pray: I truly believe in the power of prayers because within 24 hours of my request for prayers, the doctors started Kellisa on a different combination of antibiotics. There was a slight chance that she could have had a serious allergic reaction to this combination but Kellisa started feeling better very quickly. bear_thumb I knew that she was feeling better when she got out her laptop and started shopping online! bear_rolleyes and planning her wedding (she is newly engaged to her Coast Guard boyfriend).

Kellisa showed enough improvement that they let us come home to finish her treatment. I get to be her 24 hour nurse with her IV meds for the next week...but that's what moms are for. bear_innocent Kellisa wanted to be out of the hospital for her 19th birthday :cake: (Friday the 5th) and she got her wish. Hooray!!! :dance: :dance: :dance: :bday:

I'm so happy to hear such good news! I feel like crying, I'm the emotional type. I prayed for Kellisa and kept her in my thoughts. Tell Kellisa Happy Birthday for me. My birthday was on the 2nd.

Kathy I am so happy to read this...and that she is engaged too, how wonderful. IV meds aren't too nice but at least she is home...and shopping :dance: praise the internet!! i know I couldn't live without it bear_tongue hope you get back to your bears...mums need more therapy than their sick kids , I know how dreadfully hard it is.... :hug: :hug:
