Its a news story about a fellow living in Mexico, Missouri who has his wallet returned to him after 62 years. Apparently he'd lost it during WWII....and its been returned, with everything intact. Now how cool is that?
Wow! Stories like this give me goosebumps! The internet sure makes the world a smaller place.I love to see and hear from people here on TT from around the world. There are so many times that, at first thought , the internet is scary-hackers, [INVALID] etc.but then I remember the good it does as well and the enjoyment that I get from it.Without it that man would likely never have gotten his wallet back because he wouldn't have been located. What a lot of memories will have been unfolded. Thanks Debbie for the great story.
I know, it was great for me, because I got to read about the man's stories of being in WWII...what happened to him. I think its very hard as we lose the older veterans...the youngsters of today don't realize what happened, and how many people had to sacrifice during that era.
It's amazing how much the internet can be a helpful tool. I've found it to be invaluable for researching and making friends all around the world
