UGH, (I'll say it again...) GOOD GRIEF what is WRONG with people??!!   To think someone would even think to do this kind of thing.  If they only put that energy to good purposes.

    OMG!!  That's just awful!!  Thank goodness you are aware of it Dilu.....and you were able to warn people.  I guess this proves again we just don't know who is lurking in the background.

The other thing to think about Ladies and Gents, is that if they could e-mail in my name they could e-mail in yours and then you would have the problem of your rep being trashed....

OH DEAR !!!!!!  There are those who just want to make a mess of every thing . Just plain Kill Joys and bad people !!!! Sorry Dilu !! Thanks for sharing this. First E Bay now this !! Who can you trust, Good lesson I guess. The world is a dangerous place and us kind hearted teddy people just have to open our eyes. SOOOOOOOOO SAD!!!

Sheesh, I guess I really don't have a criminal mind. To use someone else's name for a swap would never have occurred to me. Sorry this happened to you Dilu dear.
My suggestion, if its a name from TT, varify by sending a PM through TT and ask if the offer was legit.

Really nothing bad happened to me at all except that a sharp and thoughtful TeddyTalker gave me the heads up when she got a hinky e-mail.  I just want everyone to know it could happen to any of us...and for us to be on gaurd!

they maybe able to get at one of us, but not all of us!
