There is no excuse for poor manners. You just saw a small part of how they behave in real life. My guess is, they don't have many friends. People like that live miserable lives. . Feel sorry for them, for these types of people have to make themselves feel better by putting others down. Rise above it and be gracious. Thank goodness you don't have to live in their skin.

I think it has nothing to do with your beautiful artwork. People like this are lacking in self-confidence and find they need to pump themselves up at other people's expense, no matter who it is. People that do this kind of thing do it in every aspect of their lives and demoralize everybody in their path. They are rotten individuals and get a thrill out of being mean to other people, it's called being a bully. It's childish, immature, rude, etc etc. It's crummy to cross paths with jerks like this. They have a character flaw and its unfortunate you had to see it.

Heather: How rude of that waiter, but I am sure he was speaking out of ignorrance, but still to call one of your awesome bears a rat!!!

Kelly: I guess I better watch out with all of my puppies these days, I don't want to be accused of trying to be like other artists on eBay!!!

That is so rude Sandra and people can be just so mean and spiteful.
I am sorry that this has happened to you.

I think that the best thing to do is ignore rude comments, hold your head up high and keep on going.
As others have said, I am sure they are jealous of you.

you did the best thing in the circumstance! some people are just ignorant! but i will all second the comment about the deaf couple..my friends are deaf and i sign,, badly,, but can communicate well enough..and his wife is like me..you cant tell my mood by my face..i just dont have one of those sweet smiley fces like my dh! when she signs her expressions are often grimaces etc,,but not related to what you might think sometimes! i was quite afraid of her at first,,and her husband is like mine..smiley handsome sweet..strangers love him.. not all things arew what they seem! but i am soo sorry that lady was so MEAN!  you make lovely bears! deb

I suppose she thinks she could have done a better job???????????
What would she know about 'ubderstanding bears'  she's obviously NOT a bear person herself because REAL bear people are much like teddies themselves, thoughtful, kind, cuddely and supportive!

Pay no attention, she really has no clue.  I for one commend you for the work you do, I wouldn't have the first clue how to do your job!!!!

When I was dealing with a rather destructive person in my life once, a dear friend (actually former sister-in-law) told me that we are given people in our lives as role models but we are also shown people throughout our lives as examples of how NOT to behave.

I've always remembered that when I've had to deal with this particular person in my life as well as dealing with other rather difficult situations.  It's actually served me well.

Sorry you had to hear someone be so blatantly rude who obviously was only trying to fluff her own feathers but in reality made herself look like a fool.
