Being a horse lover & owner for most of my life that really did give me goosebumps, how sad for the poor creatures that drowned but how wonderful that most were saved.......thanks so much for sharing this with us.

Sue Ann, I remember seeing it on TV, but honestly, with that music is was very moving!
I am happy, that everything turned out well, at least for the moment they stepped on ground. Hopefully none of them had to suffer afterwards.

Being a horselover, I know how strong a bond those people had with their horses, just to get them to go into that floodwater willingly.   bear_wub  What a risk, but I'm relieved it paid off.   :dance:
