Hello Everyone,
I know everyone is busy right now getting ready for shows and such, but I have been looking at my mohair stash and am getting quite bored with it.....just wondering if anyone is feeling the same? I would be willing to set this up if anyone is interested...no bears to make, just some fresh new ideas from a couple of new pieces of mohair!!!
I guess guideline to make it fair for all would be that you should be able to swap at least 2 fat eighths of different mohair (Or more if agreed between partners) since it is a swap though, no additional mohair should be purchased for swapping only what you have on hand that you are willing to part with....any types and colors to be figured between partners but it would be really nice to keep it a suprise!!!
And then of course we can post pictures of what we make from some of the swap mohair!

If interested let's shoot for mailing Early March, I will organize partners on March 3 so please submit your names by the 2nd of March. I will let you know who your partners are in this topic so keep your eyes out on the topic if you sign up, if anyone doesn't hear from the partner they are matched up with by the 5th let me know and I will try and help you contact them or match you up with a different partner....We will shoot for March 15 to have the swaps in the mail.

BrisbaneKrista does the mohair have to be made up of 2 full fat 1/8th or could it be 4 fat 1/16ths??
I think 4 1/16th would be okay, I just want to make sure that everyone gets at least a 1/4 total (was thinking 2 1/8ths to give a bit of variety) so that nobody gets any less than what they ship out...of course if once partners are picked and you want to add anything further that will be totally up to partners....
I would say yes Sarah, but if anyone else who has joined the swap already doesn't think so just let me know okay..

Back Road BearsI'm working on bigger bears now and would need at least a whole 1/4y piece..... all those little pieces won't do me much good! 
No worries Daphne....hmmm maybe you could use a smaller piece for accents or tummy insets, muzzles or something? Just a thought if you wanted to play with us :hug:
