I was wondering if someone could tell me how to resize your photos for uploading to your Personality page. I would like to make mine as large as some of your avator photos are but the program keeps telling me that my files are too large. When I shrink them to the size they suggest, my pics are really dinky.
Thanks for your help.

Hmmm, not sure how much help I am, but I resize mine to (I think) 600 for whichever is larger (length or width).  Is that what size you are resizing yours to?  it may be 400 is the max and not 600... it's been so long since I've put those pics in, I can't remember!  bear_shocked But maybe give that a try?

Thank you so much for your reply.  It actually sais to resize to 185X270.  With this size though, I'm getting really dinky uploads. If I go any bigger, it won't upload.  I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I'm resizing through my Picture It Publisher. Maybe I should be resizing somewhere else???

Well, I could be totally wrong but I don't think it matters what application you use to resize it.  I hope someone can come in and help you soon!  I was lucky and just got the pic that size in my avatar the first time around, so I am no help! lol

Sorry I couldn't help more, Denise!  bear_sad

P.S.  I don't want to 'offer her help' so to speak without her OK, but maybe Shelli will pop in and can help; she does all that avatar stuff really well!

You only need to have pics/images at 72 ppi for use on the www Denise, no need for a larger size. They load quicker too.

Resize advice? I would need to know what software you use to resize your pics.
