Burlison BearsI recently looked at the photos page. (I haven't ever put one up of myself yet, because I recently had a hair disaster :doh: and am waiting to get out of the awkward stage before I submit a photo of myself). Anyway, so I was looking at the photos page and was shocked to see how "human" everyone looked. 
Since I've been here the last few weeks I am constantly trying to keep every one straight in my head...and how I do that is I associate that person's avatar with their name....so much to the point where I actually think y'all look like your avatar. So when I saw real photos of you guys I was kinda shocked! Y'all look so human. But then again you each may have similarities to your avatar bears.
I was staring at Little Toot in my avatar and a weird realization hit me...you know, I kinda look like Little Toot. So my question to all of you is...do you look like your avatar bear?

Did you know that if you scroll over the avatars the persons photo will miraculously appear underneath (that is if the person has upload a photo)...scroll over MY avatar and my chubby sweet face will be underneath...then you can decide if I look my OOPA my avatar bear. :crackup: :crackup: :crackup: CHUBBY & SWEET :crackup: :crackup: :crackup:
Looks can be deceiving though....I'm NOT always sweet...ask my kids...sometimes I'm downright BOSSY!!!

AlmostBearsyou know...strangly enough shantell - you bear does have a similar look to you 
- im thinking maybe it happens because we spend a fair amount of time looking at our own faces and subconsiencly take note of how far apart our eyes are and how wide our forehead etc. and maybe this transfers into our idea of what a well balanced face should look like....hmmmmmm......its quite interesting to think about.i for one hope my bears dont look like me(poor bears)he he.i cant check with my avatar bear because bushby pete is not my pattern - hes just the first bear i made that wasnt a disaster and the best looking one id made at the time i joined....ive come a long way since then thanks to a lot of helping hands here on tt.

Tuppies TeddiesMaybe I would look like mine if I didn't colour my hair, and sometimes through lack of sleep I have black rings under my eyes, BUT my avatar is a boy bear!!!!!!
hmm yes - scroll over me its mostly my face hidden - but i do look a bit rodenty with teeth pointy nose etc - and my hare looks a bit grumpy - ask may daughter if thats me !!!!

AlmostBearsi believe that you do isnt it strange ive found myself putting my curser over everyones avatars all evening..theres the bear..theres the person..theres the bear...............lol and i can definatly see somthing in the bears thats reminisent(sp?) of their maker...i think its cute

Wild Thyme OriginalsHmmmm.... I don't know about me... I do tend to give my bears a wistful, slightly sad, shy smile... and that is often how I am photographed!
I think all my bears look like my cat, Maxie! Certainly the one that have a light muzzle with a darker face. Most of my bears are "all cat" in the chin area.

sewing starsit is so funny you started this thread, because i had been scrolling over people's avatars to see what people look like, and i really do think the personality of the bears/critters match the person underneath! i think we each just put ourselves into the bears when making them, so they have a 'look' that is all their own, and related to the person to made them!

OMG, yeah I guess you could say I am quite quirky like my bears, although I hope I don't get compared to my pups, although I can be a b***h at times so you never know!!!

'Bear' Bottoms OriginalsHmmm, I dunno if I look like my avatar or not. what do you all think? But I DO see a lot of resemblances between bears and their makers, including mine. I think our personalities really come out in our bears, so it would make sense that they look like us!
