Oh Jodi This is too funny, I have always wanted one ... we are more alike than what we know !!! If my husband would say yes I would have one also right now. So was it easy to train ? and you said they are smart ? I have always had big dogs , but I had to put mine down a few years ago now. A beautiful red Dobie. I have two cats though that give me joy. But I keep saying I want a chihuahua !!!!

Jodi , if your husbands name is Chuck, I will think we are just alike, I think Chihuahua's are really smart, I had one when I was little , my mom got her when I was an infant, she grew up with me and I carried her everywhere, I was devasted when she had to be put down due to an infection in her teeth/gums she was 14 almost 15 she was such a sweet heart, never barked.  Then we always had outside dogs and I started to have an allergic reaction to them so I just assumed I could never have an inside dog, well I kept wanting a chihuahua again and we got one last year, I have no allergic reaction to her at all. And she is so smart, I pad trained her and she took to it so quickly,  she can learn things almost the second you tell her.  I just love her to pieces. I have a ton of chihuahua books you can have if you want to read up on them.  Her full name is Princess Carmella Bonita Bella, we call her Bella.

She is so sweet but has a rather cheeky side too. I know I talk to her all the time and I just know she understands me,
she completely hates clothes, to my dismay, I have bought some really cute obnoxious outfits and she manages to get them off and take them under the couch and chews them up.  .

What cute little Chihuahua's!! My best friend used to have a couple of them when we were younger. Ruffles and sixpence!! They are such cute little dogs and very clever too!!!

I'm afraid my heart is with Cavaliers. I lost my heart to them many years ago!!!
