I thought the leg joints would've been larger/wider for that type. The straight skinny arms would fit the type but I wasn't sure about the legs, and I sure haven't studied vintage work enough to even hazard a guess.

This one hasn't a lick of mohair on him - which always makes me suspicious that he was of recent making and 'aged'.
Everything about him could certainly have been replicated to look old. Were they ever made of plain fabric? No nap 'mohair'?

Past Time BearsIf you scroll down to the bottom of that page, this seller has another stick bear on auction that has most of its mohair. The backing on the second bear looks like the fabric of the first one. Maybe every speck of hair is gone on that first one. Looks like he had a growler, too. Very interesting!
