Some time back I kindly asked you to do a post for Sylvia who had a birthday and I would print out the birthday wishes and take them to her.
Sylvia is another of my extended family, and after a horrific car accident she was left a quadraplegic. She made steady progress,even painting with her mouth.When I went to visit her, I was amazed at how alive she was, more so, than some people I knew who had everything to jump for.
After spending about 18 months in hospital, the hospital placed her in a care centre, not to my liking, but Sylvia wanted out from a hospital situation and she was moved to this place. I had an electric motor fitted to her wheel chair and life had to go on.
Sylvia developed severe pressure sores, has been in and out of hospital, and I wont even go there with the treatment she received, except for the fact that I felt like I was hitting my head against a brick wall.
Today, I called the care centre and Sylvia, will soon join Eva and be a star twinkling in our skies. 4 more children without a mother.
I ahve sent over some stronger pills for her as she is in considerable pain, and at the moment I am away from home,and unable to do much, when back I will see if I can get her into hospice, although I can see another fight on my hands
For now, I am just so mad,

that sounds so sad! So terribly sad! My heart goes out to you and her family, and I´m with Jane: I hope Sylvia will prove them wrong!
I pray for her strength and will, she has been through so much, that I hope she can make it!!!!
I wante to suggest to get a healing stone for Sylvia, in German it´s calle Chrysokoll, but I cannot find a translation, so here is the chemical Name for it, maybe you can find out about it: Cu4H4[(OH)8|Si4O10] · n H2O . Chrysokoll is a pale to darker green stone, that gives you strength and helps in self healing. :hug:

A quick update, I am now back home, and contacted hospice who in turn spoke to the ^*^&(&) Dr treating Sylvia. He did not seem to think it was a major issue, but I think he might have had a wake up call.
I have also contacted the chairman for the quadriplegic society and he now has all the details and he will follow up everything, what a relief to have some support.
He must think I am a real idiot thou- battling with my deafness to hear him on the phone, also got a major migraine - blurry vision, fuzzy brain, and with this very emotional, cant think straight- but I will fight every inch of the way to make sure she gets what she needs to give her some peace.
