Well, I'm certainly a lucky girl this morning....I received 2 parcels! I knew who one of them was from; Mikki from Cripple Creek Creative; I'd asked her to commission me a felted giraffe.......she is just breathtaking! I am soooo in love. Mikki, you are such a talented lady - I just can't stop looking at 'Katy Too'! Thank you, thank you, thank you! See 'Katy Too' below:

I was very confused and intrigued by my second parcel....it was a small brown box that had come from the US. The declaration on it said 'Metal trinket box'....huh? I'm sure I hadn't bought a trinket box....maybe it had arrived at the wrong door - was meant for someone else? Nope, it was definately addressed to me!. I didn't recognise the signature either. I frantically opened the box to see what was inside.....it was indeed a metal trinket box, but not just ANY metal trinket box - it was a beautiful heart shaped box with a wonderfuk enscription on the top; '2006 Lemonade Bears Benefit - Artist-'.......I was so touched that I actually had a bit of a teary ( bear_cry ). Sandy from Love Bud Bears had sent it to me to say thank you for participating in last years Lemonade Bears Benefit. See my wonderful trinket box below:

Sandy, I am truly touched and honoured at this beautiful gift - it was completely and utterly unexpected. I will treasure it always. I thoroughly enjoyed participating in last years Benefit, and I signed up last week for this years....it takes place only 1 month after my wedding but I am still going to work my socks off to get a bear made for Alex's wonderful campaign.

Those are wonderful surprises!! That giraffe is fab!!

I received a pretty little silver box too!! I put it right next to my crystal Industry's Choice award. They're both things I treasure. One for accomplishment and one for making a difference in this world. bear_original Besides my family, these are things I'm most proud of.
