I've always said that I wanted to be known just for my work and I shunned photos. At Disney I had a great collector of the cats come and take me out to dinner and on some rides. I was so greatful if stubborn at first (I do this show alone and am usually too busy to see the park.) Anyway this is a photo she took as we were exiting a ride. I looked at it and thought; what a perfect metaphor for what it's like to make your living as a teddy bear artist! Always on the edge in the Shark's mouth
So this is a photo I'll use. I hope it makes someone smile.
Karen
Sooo in the shark's MOUTH!
That is so funny!
And Karen, you're one lovely lady!
Eventually, I will have to post my photo too. Don't have a recent one and most of the time when I look at photos of me I'll say, "That don't look like me at all!" I guess I see myself differently than the camera does!

It certainly made me smile

Interesting! You have the same cute, wide-eyed, mischievious look in your face -- twinkly eyes and all -- as your sweet cats!
A lovely photo, Karen; thanks for posting it.
Hi, great to put a pretty face with such wonderful creations!!!
What a great photo, Karen! It is always so nice to be able to see what people look like - make it seem a little more personal chatting with them! I wish everyone would put photos up! :photo:
CUUUUUUUTE!!!
You are very cute, and so is that photo - I wonder why it has taken you soooo long!
Danni
yay! Lovely photo. I hope that shark was one of the ones from Nemo tehe
:photo: What a lovely pic!! And what a background to it Thanks for sharing it
I know how you feel about the photos...I'm always embarrassed by mine now that I've 'grown up'...or should that be 'out' It seemed more bearable having my pic with Blossom instead
I have to admit, I always think my photos make me look goofy
AND then I think; hmmm.... maybe I am sort of goofy! Not that I'm stupid but I do live in my own imagination world most of the time. I can get serious and practical, but I slip into "Kid" very easily. I guess the tip-off was that whenever I go to a friend's dinner or party their kids pull me away to play with toys or a game video(I'm pretty good at them ;-)
Sarah! You are so right. You're a Disney Honorary Member ;-> I was in the mouth of a Shark from Nemo
Debbie, You have to be kidding?! You look so cute in your photo! Not goofy like me
Karen
Awesome to finally see you Karen!!! I love the photo!!!
Hugs,
Krista

I'm so glad you posted your picture. I love to see people so I can imagine their faces when I read their posts. It's almost like sitting and talking with the person. It's a cute picture in the sharks mouth, but also you are very pretty, too.
Ahhh...that would be my best photo with me and Blossom You should have seen the others....they got pretty goofy between the two of us
I'm with the others, I think you look wonderfully mischievous in that pic ~ and you're pretty to boot There's nothing wrong with being young at heart. I LOVE to play with the toys, and colour in colouring books.
