I'm a bit early, but I wanted to wish everyone the absolute best of luck at this first Calgary Show.  The bear previews have been beautiful and everyone has worked so hard I'm sure. I expect  Heather has organized a fantastic show with no details missed.  And, with the economy booming out west (1/2 of the east coast has moved there I'm sure ) it is sure to be a huge success.   Please, please someone post lots of pictures.

So... I'll be the first to say thanks! It has been a while since I made bears for a show and not just for orders- it was so hard and I didn't get nearly done what I had planned but in the big scheme of things that doesn't really matter. I am looking forward to just being with everyone and having lots of fun 'cause in the end if it isn't fun (and I have done shows that were so not fun) there's no point. I did a show in Florida with an open bar-I kid you not- and it was such a slow show that almost all the artists were a bit schnockered by the end!
I am heading off for 2 weeks in the Rocky Mountains right after the show but I'll take lots of  :photo:  as I'm sure everyone will and I'll see if I can find a way to post before I get back home.
Best of luck everyone- wish you were here Tammy!

Thank you so much Tammy!!! I wish you were going to be there bear_cry but don't worry we will post lots and lots of pictures! I know Heather has been working like crazy to produce an amazing show, and I know it is going to be a blast! Not long now, it is like waiting for Christmas

I can't wait - I'm a little nervous with excitement.  My first show and I'm sure it will be sooooooooooo much fun!  We will MAKE it fun!!! 

Heather is awesome and I know has been working really hard to get things together.  (Heather if you are reading this you owe me an e-mail - vegs!)

I just charged by camera battery so rest assured there will be lots and lots of  :photo:

Thanks, Tammy, and everyone else for all the good wishes for the artists at the Calgary show! It's been 5 years since there was a bear show in Calgary so it should be really exciting - I hope all the bear collectors have stuck around!!!! Or a bunch of new ones moved in!  :crackup: We will for sure take lots of pictures - oops - I think that's the one thing I haven't packed yet - my camera! Must go do that right now!!!

:dance:  :dance: I don't think I will be able to sleep tonight!!! I have multiple batteries charging now for my camera so lots of photos!!! I am planning on bringing my lap top, so I might be able to download some pics on Friday night after the Olive Garden if I have internet at the hotel....fingers crossed, if so I will post them!

I am also excited. I can't wait to see all the bears, meet TT'ers in person and have a great show!!
There has been soo much interest from collectors that I'm sure it will be a success!

I will also take a ton of pictures and I'll make sure to post them. I also better get my batteries charging.

So many of my fellow Canadians getting together.I'm so jealous.I wish I could be there to meet you all and visit the bears.I'm sure they are all gorgeous and you girls are too.I'm sure Heather doesn't want to think about this right now bear_tongue  but what about next year????
