Hi Mary
You can and SHOULD place your bears on different sites to sell. You just want to be careful not to place it on two AUCTION sites at the same time because potentially 2 people could win the same bear. But on here or BOA or Bearpile etc., they must contact you first to see if it is available.I place mine on here, Bearpile, and ebay all at the same time. If someone contacts me about it from Bearpile, then I tell them that it is listed on erbay and if there is no winner, then they can purchase the bear.

What Sonya said!   And it's not a stupid question.  When I have available work that's NOT an auction piece I plaster it everywhere I can think of.  Here, my website, my blog.  If I were a member I'd put it on Bear Pile and at BAO too.

The reason you can't list a particular item at eBay in addition to these other venues is that on eBay your auction is actually the start of contract between you and your potential buyer.  Thus, if you back out of that contract and tell your winning bidder, "Sorry: Item already SOLD!" you're actually breaking a contract YOU initiated, which looks bad, lacks integrity, and will damage your feedback and thus your professional reputation.  None of which you want.

Very good question!

Thank You Sooooooooooo.....much Sonya   and Shelli  for your response.   I will sure take this advise into consideration when I start showing my bears for sale.
I did not know about auctioning. This is why I asked this question,I started thinking ( if I put a bear for sale on one place what will happen if I put that same one on sale in another place or several others ,and if it sells what will I do to the other places.)
Now! I will know what to do  Thanks again for your help    bear_flower  bear_flower      I
