There is no one here!!! There never is at this hour!! Why am I the only one up and hanging out here at midnight every night? This means it's only 9pm on the west coast..... you all are still up over there... where are you? The folks in the UK have a good excuse not to be here... there are still in bed. I have no idea what time it is in Oz but obviously it's not TT time.

I guess this is what I get for being up so late working every night! Well, with nothing happening here I should go get some more work done!!

Night-night! Sweet Dreams!

We are around but I just check in and out.  At this time over in Oz it's time to pick the kids up from school normally.
Today they are sick, blood test for one of them and medicine and cream for the other... fun fun fun.

I'm usually busy around 9 (midnight your time) wrapping up homework, readying for tomorrow, cleaning up our dinner dishes, doing laundry, trying to get the kids to finish gaming and get up to shower, etc.  But I almost always check in around 10:30 - 11:30, Daphne.  So if you'd just stay up until 1:00 a.m. or so, we could chat then!

I have been busy burning off.  The Gum trees along the roadside loose heaps of bark and it's a real fire hazzard in summer.
It's a great way to get fit too, as I ache all over now.
I had a little rest while I was busy and looked up into where we have our fruit trees, and I thought if it's sunny tomorrow I must take a picture for you all, you will get a real laugh out of our fruit trees, or I should say what protects our fruit trees bear_original

Christine,
How do you know they aren't going to eat more than they protect?  That tree looks pretty bare (no pun intended) to me!!!

The tree is  bear alright  bear_grin
We are just coming into spring, it's funny though that all the fruit trees seem to have allot more blossom on them than the one with the bears in.
I don't like going too close as if you look behind the trees you will see that there are bee hives.
They are in a handy spot for the bees to pollinate the fruit, and for the bears to get some honey  bear_grin

Christine, that's so funny.... definitely very curious about the lack of blossoms in that tree though!

Shelli, it wouldn't be a very coherant chat on my part if I stayed up that late!!

Bron, sorry the kids are sick! Hopes it'a speedy recovery and nothing serious!
