For artists and collectors sponsored by Intercal...your mohair supplier and Johnna's Mohair Store
Well I must have been crazy but yesterday I decided to sort out ALL of my materials. I decided enough was enough and to go through it all. MAD woman that's me, how was I to know that this idea would take me HOURS AND HOURs and spill out into todays time too....here's me up to my neck in it literally! What you can see is only a small part of my stash, there's loadssssssssssssss more!
Here are a few more pictures of what I was up too on Friday with my son David. David and I went to London to go to Madame Tussauds, waxworks, London's famous tourist attraction. We arrived and queued up for a long time only to be told, once at the front of the queue, that I could not go in with my wheelchair because the lifts we out of order. We travelled across London by taxi to South Kensington and visited first the Science Museum and then the National History museum.
I entered the area with the T-Rex from the opposite entrance to most people owing to my wheelchair so when I turned a corner I came face to face with the guy in the last picture, just as he opened his mouth and gave a loud roar, boy did I jump.
Now what have you all been up to?
Hugs Jane.
Oh Jane !!! You are so brave !! I am too scare to check my mohair stock.....I guess, I'll end up same as you.
I'm going to make Intercal order tonight so, I should check up on my mohair stock but ......I'll ignore that....

Looks like you've got quite a stash there Jane! lol :)
That's a pity you couldn't get into the wax museum, but looks like you had a great day anyway! Thanks for posting the pics, I really enjoyed them
Cool pictures! I love the building that museum is in!
You've got as much mohair as me! I really need to stop buying mohair, I have a ton.
Jane- I can hardly wait for hubby to get up so I can show him the pic of you and your mohair stash. It might let me "off the hook".He thinks I'm the only person in the world who can't resist buying mohair-even when they have lots!! I showed him all the studio and workplace pictures too -especially the ones which showed piles of mohair. I didn't want to be mean but it's lovely to have "partners in crime"!!! Sincerely Jane D.
Cool stash of mohair, Jane!! If I got all of mine out, I would be smothered within seconds. Looooove the museum photos . . . such magnificent architecture!
Yes Jane!!! I know mohair the feeling of just wanting one more weeny piece, it just grows faster than you can sew. I showed my hubby the picture too and he knows now it is quite a common practice    Love the museum pictures.

Jane what a wonderful pic of you with your stash. Great photo's of the museum I didn't get to that one,I will have to put it on my to do list when I go over again. ( if I ever do get over again)
Remember the golden rule, "A girl can never have too much mohair".
I keep telling myself that and it keeps the guilts away well and truly.
Loved the museum photos.
Wow Jane a great stash of mohair and that will keep you going for a long time!
I enjoyed the museum photos and thanks for sharing.
Hugs
Carolyn
Uh ahhhh Jane, you´re worse than me!
I´m glad that I don´t drown in my mohairs....
Too bad, that you could not see Madame Toussauds- it was never very tempting to me wit all the bloody details they show
The natural history museum sounds great! And looks great!
Thanx for the pix!
Gaby
PS. What I´ve been up to? Well, no pix of me cleaning out my dad´s garage. Not just any old garage- it´s a truck garage, where REAL big trucks were repaired...40 years of fanatic extensive collecting of iron, wood and other more or less usefull things- all in my hands..... and on my back
So please forgive me, for not showing pix of me looking like I´d wrestled with a pig
