Hi everybody,
I wanted to introduce another German-born bearkidz to you: Leonie.
Since 5 weeks I am now here and couldn't resist. I had to find yarn and some bear making material.
The outcome is little Leonie.
Leonie is one-of-a-kind and entirely crocheted without a pattern. I guess, she is around 14" (don't have a measuring tape here in the hotel). I used several yarns in yellow shades to achieve her soft "fur". Her paw pads are crocheted from a fine cottong thread.
The collar I found and bought at an antique market. Hope you like little Leonie,
hugs,
Marion
Leonie is beautiful. Love the endearing little face.
mini hugs,

Marion,
She's beautiful....your talent is amazing!

Wow! I don't have the slightest clue how you manage to crochet a teddy bear, but you do it very well, Marion! What a pretty little bear!!!
She's a doll. Such a sweet face. I had a Great Aunt Leonie and often thought that would be a great name for a bear.
Yes we like your little Leonie... We love this pretty Teddy Girl
Thank you for the nice compliments.
In the meantime I was able to determine Leonie's correct size: it is just 11" and not 14" as I first guessed.
A letter size sheet was a perfect measuring device. lol
Hugs,
Marion
Hi Marion
She is veryyyyyy sweet and pretty.

Its amazing that you can create such a beautiful and sweet bear by crocheting - and without a pattern too  (coming from one that can't do crocheting ) She is really sweet and I love her "fur"
she is lovely. Do admire your crochet abilities.
Marion
Another wonderful bear....I love your style, Marion :-)
