I'm sorry, I know this has come up before but I can't find the thread!!

Can someone tell me when submissions need to be for any of the 2008 US bear competitions. Any more info (price, the different competitions etc) would be much appreciated too.

Also, are any of them photo based ones? I really like to enter one of my bigger 17" bears into a US competition but they're pretty heavy (cost about £30 to send to the US!) so I'd prefer not to have to post them. Can you also submit bears that are sold?

Incidentally, have you thought about the Golden George? It's the next big one coming up here (entries have to be in by end Nov.)........for this one you DO have to send the bear in, if you get nominated
