On my return from Florida, after 2 weeks of helping my parents sort things out. I made a stop in Washington DC at the National Zoo. I was very brave and went into Washington without a map or exact directions to the zoo.....I found it without a problem and had a nice visit with the Sloth Bear, Panda Bears and Golden Lion Tamarin Monkeys It is so nice to be back home where it is cool and colorful and some texture to the land.....driving into the Adirondacks was like a warm welcoming hug home.......I spent 30 minutes going 8 miles on Thursday morning in New Jersey, then for the last 2 hours of the trip saw maybe 1 car every 5 to 10 miles! Now back to reality! Hope you enjoy the pictures.

DoodlebearsThanks for sharing your pictures Ellen. I would love to see all the animals but those Golden Lion Tamarins would really catch my interest. I dare say I would take dozens of pictures and then come home and make one.
